Laminar Down Flow Unit (LAF cabinet / Down Flow Hood)

ProCleanroom offers the hi quality Connect2Cleanrooms down flow solutions which allow you to set up an ISO qualified micro climate LAF cabinet / Down Flow Hood (DFH) for critical processes. You can now provide your laboratory bench or table with a laminar downflow  (LAF) cabinet or Down Flow Hood according to the ISO standard 14644 Part 1, class 5 (Fed. class 100) or better.

We offer two standard 'off the shelve' LAF (Laminar Air Flow) cabinets / units:

LFU-1 unit
Dimensions (external in mm): 1330 (W) x 1075 (H) x 667 (D)

LFU-2 unit
Dimensions (external in mm): 850 (W) x 1075 (H) x 667 (D)

The down flow units / cabinets / hoods are equipped with either PETg or metal side panels and can be equipped with a sliding or multi-segment folding front door. You can position the laminar downflow cabinet on top of your existing (cleanroom) furniture (bench, table) or use the optional stainless steel bench.

The HEPA (or ULPA) Fan Filter Unit offers a 3-step air speed control as a standard or stepless variable air speed control using the optional Triac controller. It offers a maximum capacity of 1100 m3/hr each filter unit. This ensures a very high air exchange rate inside the laminar flow hood (downflow air shower) resulting in a very clean particle controlled micro climate workstation. Filter quality is watched by a Magnehelic pressure gauge: leaks or blockage are easily detected. Integrated lights are available as an option. These laminar downflow working stations are ideal for work and inspection on sensitive, particle and/or micro organism critical products or processes.
