This portable ISO6 class combined softwall / solid wall modular cleanroom has been utilized inside an existing ISO7 cleanroom to create a local ISO class 6 micro climate. The ISO class 6 is needed for the inspection and packaging of hi-end precision machined components, used in the most demanding hitech industries around the globe. The machined precision components are brought into the ISO6 cleanroom directly after ultrasonic cleaning. Because the inspection on hydrocarbons, particles and other contamination is performed by using UV light, the room has been fitted with blinded solid walls and a blinded softwall black strip curtain entrance. The components are cleanroom and vacuum packed inside the ISO6 environment after the UV inspection has been completed. After that the finished goods find their way to the end users / OEM's. The portable cleanroom has been equipped with braked wheels so it can be moved between two different existing cleanroom areas. Also, the room has been designed to be corrosive resistant, because of the slightly acid nature of the cleaning environment its in. (cleaning baths, etc.)
